About Me

  • About Me: I am a slightly over 40 christian wife of 20 plus years with two wonderful, unique kids, Cinderella & The Boy. We live in a "northernish" southern state (if you lived here you would understand...we take pride in our southern roots!) with five dogs, a cat, some fish and a bunch of parrots. I am working on being the best wife and mother that God has called me to be. And I am a work in progress!

Travel

  • Places I love: the ocean. I've always wanted to live in a lighthouse. I also love the mountains. One of my favorite vacations is to go to Myrtle Beach and stop off in the Smokies on the way home. The best of both worlds. Oh and I love Disney World.
  • Places I've been: Hawaii, California, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania
  • Places to see before I die: Tuscany. I want to go and buy a villa to live in just like Frances Mayes.
  • Dream Vacation: a trip to Tuscany or Hawaii or Greece or Alaska or any cruise.

Food

  • Favorite Desserts: Is there any dessert not to like?
  • Favorite Drinks: Sprite
  • Favorite Junk Foods: Outback's Cheese Fries
  • Favorite Restaurants: Rafferty's, No Way Jose's, Colorado Fondue Company
  • Foods I hate: Green Peppers.

Television

  • Favorite Shows: Most mysteries or crime shows. Husband sometimes worries that I am plotting to kill him with all the different shows I watch. Dancing with the Stars, the Closer, Boston Legal, Clean Sweep, Iron Chef, Extreme Makeover Home Edition,
  • Favorite Channels: A&E, USA, Food Network, Crime, Hallmark,
  • Favorite Reruns: Any crime show, Matlock, Murder she wrote (aren't the hairstyles and clothes funny?) MASH, Frasier,
  • Most Addictive Show: Dancing with the Stars
  • Favorite Late Night Talk Show: I don't do talk shows.
  • Favorite Episode: Probably Frasier's Flour Child, or the restaurant episode.

Books

  • Favorite Books: I reread my favorites and currently have about 75 or 80 on that list.
  • Favorite Authors: Elizabeth George, Beth Moore, Angela Thomas, Lori Wick, Dee Henderson, Frances Mayes, Marlena Di Blasi, and a million others.
  • Favorite Genres: Anything, mystery, current issue, christian living, romance, suspense, if it's readable, I will probably try it. I do not care for horror books though.
  • Recent Reads: I have a lisst of books I am going to be working on posted on my blogger site.

Music

  • Favorite Artists: Celtic Women, Travis Cottrell, MW Smith, Mac Powell,
  • Favorite Albums: Christmas! But I'm sure that will change in a month or so.

  • Favorite Songs: We Will Dance off of Living Proof Live 2 always makes me cry. Always. Anything Mac Powell sings.
